ROCKFORD LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS' RESPONSE TO TIIE REQUEST FOR INFORM ATION Attached hereto is a letter from counsel for the Rockford League of Women Voters addressed to all counsel of record and to representatives of DAARE/ SAFE. The letter is self-explanatory.
The letter is also being filed at this time as the League's report in response to the July 13, 1982 Request For Information so that the League cannot be faulted for not promptly responding.
As the letter indicates, the League conferred with counsel for the NRC Staff, Steven C. Goldberg, Esq., who undertook to communicate with DAARE/ SAFE and Commonwealth Edison Co. to attempt to see if any part of the enclosed letter meets with the agreement of the parties.I l

While ifr. Goldberg on behalf of the Staff can obviously speak for himself, l
the League wishes to record that \\le. Uoldberg informed League counsel the morning of July 16,1982 that he did not think it was either practicable or
\\
achiavable to have a hearing during August 1982 on the League's contentions.
