Dear Judge:
Pursuant to your request I have prepared a short memorandum on the New York State statutory framework for emergency planning.
Please find the memorandum attached.
As stated in the transcript (Tr. 2260) on June 29, 1982, the State nailed a portion of the response to PE!IA'l June 17 letter.
In order to save time this response consisted ot handwrittcn marginal notes to the December 1981 RAC review of the State Plan.
The State's response has now been put into typewritten form and is attached for the information of the Board and the parties.
We will identify this document and raove that it it be taken into the record as an exhibit (NYS
) sponsored by the State's witnesses at the proper time.
