00t40tMEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA'S RESPONSE TO APPEAL BOARD IEDRANDIN AND ORDER DATED JUNE 29, 1982 In response to paragraph 3 of the Appeal Board's June 29, 1982 Itsnorandum and Order, the Cocmonwealth subnits the following information:

1. New versions of public information/ education pamphlets were printed recently and are scheduled to be distributed to all residents in the 'IMI-l plume exposure pathway EPZ, by first class mail, beginning on July 23, 1982. Copies of these pamphlets were distributed to the Appeal Board and the parties to this proceeding by the Licensee.
2. ,,The agricultural " fact sheets" referred to in the Appeal Board Order will be included in the " Disaster Handbook for Extension Agents",

which was revised this year by the Cooperative Extension Service, Pennsylvania State University, in cooperation with the Extension Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Federal Emergency Managment Agency.1 The Handbook is scheduled for printing this month, and will be distrib ted to all County Agricultural Extensions in the Conrnonwealth of Pennsylvania. In addition, copies of the pages applicable to nuclear mergencies will be reproduced and distributed to all farmers with livestock herds, based on current Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture

1. The " Disaster Handbook" was prepared for nationwide distribution and includes other types of events in addition to nuclear emergencies.
