PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY OF NEW HAMPSHIRE (Seabrook Station, Units 1 and 2)
NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF DIRECTOR'S DECISI0d On February 8,1982, Mr. Robert Backus, on behalf of the Seacoast Anti-Pollution League filed a request under 10 C.F.R. 2.206 for an order to show cause why Construction Permit Nos. CPPR-135 and CPPR-136 should not be suspended or revoked because of an alleged lack of financial qualification of the lead applicant, Public Service Company of New Hampshire.
Effective March 31, 1982, the Commission's regulations were amended to eliminate financial qualification requirements.
In light of this, I have determined not to grant the request of Mr. Backus. The reasons for this decision are set forth in a " Director's Decision under 10 C.F.R. 2.206", which is available for inspection in the Commission's Public Document Room at 1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20555, and in the local public document room at the Exeter Public Library, Front Street, Exeter, New Hamp-shire 03883. A copy of the decision will also be filed with the Secretary for the Commission's review in accordance with 10 C.F.R. 2.206(c).
