Dear Administrative Judges:

The purpose of this letter is to provide a status on the Staff's preparation of its assessment of new information since the issuance of its FES in 1977 regarding the CRBR. Although the assessment is almost complete, the Staff is still evaluating the environmental significance of the new information, and hence whether or not a suppler ?nt to the CRBR FES must be issued and circulated for comment. The Staff expects to reach a decision regarding the significance of the new information shortly.
