The Lynchburg Research Center has completed the dismantling and decontamination i of the referenced facility in accordance with our approved Dismantling Plan. i Attached are the results of the final surveys made at the facility. The results t indicate that the icvels of radioactivity remaining at the facility are within those specified in the Dismantling Plan and I therefore, request that a verifica-tion survey be performed by representatives of the NRC's Of fice of Inspection and Enforcement. I further request that upon receipt of a report from I&E veri-fying that the levels of activity remaining within the facility are within the limits specified in the Dismantling Plan, that the facility be released for un-restricted use and that the referenced license be terminated.
