Maine Yankee Emergency Plan and Revised Commitment for Post Accident Primary System Sampling System' Personnel Training

Dear Sir:

Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54 (q), please find enclosed the appropriate number of copies (ten (10) copies for tRR, three (3) copies for Region I) o' a page revision to Refererce (b).

This revision is to include in the emergercy plan a site that could be l

used by an expanded support organization in the event of a large scale Iemonse to an emergerry.

i This letter also revises our commitment for procedures and training for I

the new post accident sampling system (completed by June 26, 1982). The procedures are complete but the personnel training will not be completed by June 26, 1982 as we had previously anticipated.

We are attempting to have this system operable as soon as possible but no later than the end of the 1982 refueling outage. Once the system becomes operable, training will be implemented on the system's operation. It is anticipated that this training will be completed by January 1,1983.
