SUBJECT:
ATLAS MACHINE AND IRON WORKS - ALLEGATION OF FALSIFIED QA RECORDS FOR PHIPPS BEND AND HARTSVILLE NUCLEAR SITES On November 5,1981, I contacted Special Agent Peggy Kirby of the Complaint Desk, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Alexandria, Virginia.
I briefly related the available information provided by Region II concernirig the subject case., Kirby indicated that the Alexandria office would handle the Gainesville, Virginia area where the subject company is located.
She requested that I forward to her attention the available information on this case by way of letter.
She indicated that she would confer with her supervisor on this matter after receiving our letter and, subsequent to that, contact us in several days.
