Dear Mr. Denton:
Enclosed is one copy of the radioactive solid waste Process Control Program (PCP) for Shoreham Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1 (SNPS).
Submittal at this time is consistent with the review schedule developed with the NRC Staff.
The solidification system as described in the attached PCP was manufactured by Atcor, one of the largest vendors of solidification systems.
Atcor has provided solidification systems at other nuclear units.
In the attached description, the identification number for a few plant operating procedures is listed as "later".
These procedure numbers will be provided in a future submittal; however, this should not affect staff review of this document.
