9 10CFR50.55(e) - SIGNIFICANP DEFICIDCY 1.
Identification of Nonconformance Active, mntainment isolation valves did not have the correct seismically qualified bonnets and actuators installed.
2.
Ntanber and Imtion of Nonconformance Only two valves, XVD-6242A/B-ND, are involved. These are respectively located cm the 412' elevation of the Reactor and Fuel Handling Building.
3.
Significant Deficiency Created and Evaluation This deficiency was created when the construction installation docunents were not updated to require a new style bonnet and actuator part ntanber to be installed. Without the correct qualified conponents installed, these valves may not have been operable following a design basis seismic event.
4.
Corrective Action (bnstruction installation doctznents have been revised to require the correct bonnet and actuators. The correct qualified bonnets an1 actuators have now been installed and doctanented. A review of other similar valves has been performed with no additional deficiencies being found.
