DOCKET NOS. 50-266 AND 50-301 STEAM GENERATOR SLEEVING PROGRAM POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 During your Staff's review of the Point Beach Steam Generator Sleeving Report for Wisconsin Electric Power Company, WCAP-9960 (Sleeving Report), which was submitted on April 13, 1982, additional information was requested by Mr. T. G. Colburn.

This information has been provided by telephone to Mr. Colburn in response to his verbal request. This letter provides written confirmation of our verbal responses. Attachment 1 to this letter contains pages 6.71, 6.72, 6.92, 6.96, and 6.97 of the Sleeving Report which have been marked to indicate the additional information provided to Mr. Colburn.

Mr. Colburn also requested that we provide the source of a reference cited in support of Section 6.3.2 of the Sleeving Report. The referenced information is provided in Section 6.3.10 of the Steam Generator Repair Report for Southern California Edison San Onofre Unit 1, March 1981.

The attachment to this letter contains information which is proprietary to the Westinghouse Electric Corporation.

In conformance with the requirements of 10 CFR Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, we have enclosed herewith an application for withholding this proprietary material from public disclosure and an affidavit from Westinghouse Electric Corporation in support of that application. The application and the affidavit set forth the basis on which the information should be withheld from public disclosure.
