Dear Mr. Denton:
SER Item No. 60, which is presently classified as " Resolved Pending Confirmation", requires that procedures and training relative to a loss of AC power at Shoreham be completed before fuel load.
Please be advised that these emergency procedures have been completed and approved, and are designated as follows:
a)
SP 29.015.01 Rev. 2 - Loss of Off-Site Power b)
SP 29.015.02 Rev. 0 - Loss of All AC Power In addition, the training required for these procedures will have been fulfilled by July 3, 1982 for the first licensing group, which consists of those personnel anticipated to have licenses by fuel load.
This training includes self-study and a walk-through of the procedures and transient by each candidate at the Limerick simulator.
LILCO requests that appropriate confirmatory action be scheduled and performed by the NRC no that this item can be completely closed.
