Dear Mr. Denton:

This is to provide information regarding emergency plans for Byron Generating Station. Staf f review of this information snould close parts of Outstanding Item 16 o f the Byron SER. -

Enclosed are fif teen copies of the latest revision o f the Byron Annex to the " Commonwealth Edison Generating Stations Emergency Plan" (GSEP). This annex will be incorporated into the '

controlleo copies of GSEP as soon as practical.

This vers'i on of the Byron Annex supplants the one provided in reference (a). It incorporates information discussed in reference (b). The following open items in Appendix 0 of the Byron SER are addressed:

1. Letters of agreement: refer to Section 4.2 o f the Annex.

2. Responsibilities of the Station Director that cannot be delegated: re fe r to Section 4.2.1.

3. Shif t augmentation: refer to Section 4.1.7, Section 6.1, and Section 8.1. Also refer to Section 4.2 o f the generic GSEP, revision 3. -~

4. Parameter values for emergency classes : refer to Section 5.0. NOTE: Additional parameter values will be identified after installation and calibration of plant equipment. This is consistent with page D-8 o f the Byron SER.
