(UCLA Research Reactor) June 17, 1982 ORDER (Ruling on CBG Motion to Compel of April 18,1982)
Af ter having made a five-hour inspection of the Nuclear Energy Laboratory on November 12, 1981, CBG, in its April 18, 1982 Motion to Compel, requests to see some 30 items of equipment and other rooms and spaces adjacent to the facility. UCLA, in its response dated May 3,1982 coments that CBG representatives have viewed most of the equipment and includes its checklist of items inspected. UCLA coments that all areas that had any reasonable relation to NEL reactor operation were viewed and a tour diagram is attached.
In light of the foregoing, it is this 17th day of June,1982, ORDERED:
CBG is to clarify its requests in its April 8 Motion to Compel in light of UCLA's May 3 comments. This clarification is to specifically identify what items and areas CBG was not permitt.ed to inspect and why such inspection is necessary. In identifying these items, specific reference is to be made to SO 8206210277 82617 PDR ADOCK 05000142 O PDR
