Dear Mr. Denton:
On April 27, 1982 we received. a letter from Mr. S. A. Varga in which he reported a deficiency in the key and lock control system employed at the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant. He asked us to provide physical security plan pages appropriately revised to address the comments on the key and lock i ontrol program enclosed with his letter.
We requested and received an extension from your Staff to respond to Mr. Varga's letter. is our response to your request. We have indicated with a vertical bar in the right hand margin of Attachment 1 the new section of the Modified Amended Security Plan. Under separate cover, we will send you revised pages to our MASP which reflect our response to this letter.
The attachment to this letter contains. proprietary security information; in accordance with 10CFR 2.790, we request that the attachment be withheld from public disclosure and not placed in the Public Document Room.
