Dear Mr. Collins:

In reference 1, LP&L committed to submit a final report by June 7, 1982 on Potentially Reportable Incident No. 52.

The rework of the ASTM-A-490 bolts is now complete, however, it has been discovered that the 2,000 lb. torque wrench which was used to verify bolt torquing was out of calibration in the 1100-1200 foot-pound range. This has been documented on NISCO Nonconformance Report No. 221 and will be processed and evaluated.

A final report on this item will be submitted by July 6, 1982.
