POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 4
to 03 On March 22, 1982, we received Mr.
D. G. Eisenhut's letter to all licensees of operating power reactors dated March 17, 1982 which transmitted Generic Letter No. 82-05 regarding post-TMI requirements.
This letter essentially requested a status update by licensees of NUREG-0737 items requiring additional responses.
The letter requested that l
we furnish this information within 30 days of the date of the letter.
Because of conflicts with other TMI-related work, a Point Beach Unit 1 inservice inspection outage followed by the start of the Point Beach Unit 2 refueling outage, and extensive work-related travel by several of the principal engineers involved with this submittal, we will be unable to complete the reviews and work necessary to finalize our response before April 26.
As agreed to by Mr. Colburn of your staff by telephone on April 19, 1982, we will either telecopy or Express Mail to you our response on that date.
