I.

INTRODUCTION By Memorandum and Order dated April 15, 1982, the Special Master ordered the transcript in this proceeding to be corrected as set forth in the April 15th Order and also permitted the parties to comment on Licensee's Proposed Transcript Corrections by April 23, 1982. The Staff hereby proposes two changes to the Special Master's transcript correc-tions and proposes a number of changes to Licensee's proposed transcript corrections to make them more accurate.

II. DISCUSSION A.

The Special Master's Transcript Corrections The Staff proposes the following changes to the transcript corrections ordered by the Special Master in his Memorandum and Order dated April 15, 1982:

(1) Page 24,000, line 8:

change "or" to "of" the first time "or" appears (2) Page 26,241, line 12:

change the second " conflicts" to

" testimony" These changes are proposed in order to remove abiguities from the Special Master's April 15th corrections.

B.

Licensee's Proposed Transcript Corrections The Staff proposes the following changes to Licensee's Proposed Transcript Corrections:

(1) Page 24,299, line 6: change " map" to " math" (2) Page 24,666, line 7: change " Managing" to " Energy" (3) Page 24,697, line 24: change the first "not" to "now" (4) Page 24,942, line 11:

insert a period after " machine" (5) Page 24,942, line 12: change "where" to "Where" and change

" lines. One" to " lines, one" (6) Page 25,985, line 11:

change the first "to" to "do" (7) Page 26,325, line 16: change "the Mediterranean command." to "a training command."

(8) Page 26,472, line 1:

change the second "and" to "am" (9) Page 26,506, line 24:

change "five" to "six" These changes are proposed in order to remove ambiguities or make more accurate the transcript corrections proposed by Licensee, as can be verified in each case by reference to the transcript page and line cited.

III.

CONCLUSION In order to make the transcript more accurate, the Staff requests that the above changes be made. With these additional corrections, the

Staff has no objection to the transcript corrections ordered by the SpecialMhsterandproposedbyLicensee.
