-553, -554, -566, -567 - FLAMMABLE CONTACT ARM RETAINERS IN GE CR120A RELAYS - BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT Please reference R. C. Lewis' letter dated March 10, 1981, transmitting NRC Inspection Report 50-259/80-47, -260/80-37, and -296/80-41 for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, and your lettcr dated January 16, 1978, transmitting IE Bulletin 78-01. Our initial response to the subject bulletin was submitted to your office on February 13, 1978. This letter constitutes our supplemental response to the subject bulletin.
Additional research has been performed to determine locations of GE CR120A relays which might have been overlooked in our initial search.
Drawings of various systems were reviewed and possible additional CR120A relays were identified. These relays have been inspected and all contact arm retainers have been changed out and marked in accordance with revised Electrical Maintenance Instruction 53 This completes the action required in open item 259/80-47-02.
