Confirmation of Action - License No. 45-19273-01 This letter refers to the telephone conversation on March 11, 1982, between you and Mr. A. F. Gibson of this office, concerning the use of radioactive material in your nuclear medicine program in the absence of the physician named in the subject license as the authorized user, or under his supervision.
Based upon the matters discussed, it is our understanding that since no authorized user remains on your hospital staff, licensed material will be used only in accordance with the license provision allowing its use by a qualified visiting physician.
You may wish to make application to request that your license be amended to name a qualified permanent staff member as authorized user under your license.
If your understanding of our discussion is different from that stated above, please inform this of fice promptly.
