In accordance with the requirements of I&E Bulletin 79-018,
" Environmental Qualification of Electrical Equipment", Supplement 3, dated October 24, 1980, and in keeping with our desire to keep the NRC supplied with current information, Georgia Power Company hereby submits the attached Revision 4 to the response for Plant Hatch - Units 1 and 2.
This revision reflects the change in qualification status of certain Limitorque motor operated valves from qualified to open item, based on Limitorque's letter dated September 1, 1981. Additionally 2P52-PS N002, 2PS2-MOV F565 and associated electrical equipment are Seing added as a result of a check of the Emergency Operating Procedures review equipment list.
Current progress in the qualification or replacement of the equipment in the report is not reflected in this revision. Through periodic letters, GPC will continue to keep you informed of our qualification / replacement progress. These changes will be reflected in a later revision of the
" Environmental Qualification of Class lE Electrical Equipment" submittal.
