The following clarification is submitted to our response, dated July 18,1981, to I.E. Bulletin 81-03.

The first paragraph under 3.b) on page two reads:

"The RWMS is the only direct interface with the affected water. The RWMS is to be continuously chlorinated at a level of 10 ppm, providing a residual-free chlorine level of 1 ppm."

This paiagraph should be changed to read:

"The RWMS is the only direct interface with the affected water. The RWMS is to be continuously chlorinated as necessary during the Corbicula spawning season up to a level of 10 ppm, providing a residual-free chlorine level of 1 ppm."

This clarification does not affect the Plant Vogtle capability to combat Corbicula.
