as they are installed.

The system data base shall be entered on a storage device for bulk loading of the controller memory prior to cutting in the new controller.
The existing system shall be intergrated as set forth below:

- i. To the extent possible, the existing system wiring shall J
be used for installation of the new system.

The existing 12 volt electric door strikes presently installed at the Maryland National Bank and Air Rights III Buildings shall be used.
iii. Twenty-one (21) new 12 VAC transformers shall be installed at the Maryland National Bank Building which in addition to the twenty-one (21) existing transformers, I
shall provide a total of two (2) transformers at each card reader location, one for the reader and one for the electric strike.
iv.
Twenty-one (21) existing sets of magnetic door contacts presently installed at the Maryland National Bank Building shall be used.
Existing standby power battery packs and their associated v.
chargers which, are presently installed for card readers at the Maryland National Bank Building shall be used.
t vi. Ten (10) existing 12 VAC transforners as presently installed at the Air Rights III Building, with one for each reader and a separate one for each strike, shall be used.
vii.
Approximately half of the new replacement card readers shall be installed to operate in the degraded mode.
These shall then be connected to the new console, and the remaining card readers shall be disconnected, permitting them to operate in the degraded mode until replaced.

Four (4) new card readers and one multiplexer shall be installed at the Air Rights III Building and may operate in a degraded mode, l
if necessary, until the new controller becomes operational. The Government has provided knobsets and 115 VAC card reader power at these four locations.

l Article V - Acceptance Test Plan On or before March 15, 1982, the contractor shall submit to the project officer for his review, an acceptance test plan in which is set forth precisely what processes, capabilities, features and equipment will be tested and how each will be tested.
The plan will briefly discuss each test to be perfonned and the desired results of each.
The plan will be separated into a " Phase I" test, c.orresponding to Phase I of the installation as discussed in Article III, Installation Requirements, Paragraph 5.g. and a " Phase II" test corresponding to Phase II of the in'stallation.
One or the other of the test plans shall cover all card readers f
as well as the eighteen (18) items set forth in Article II. The acceptar.ce test relating to Phase II shall substantiate that those processes tested l'
and accepted in Phase I continue to operate satisfactorily in consideration of the activation of the equipment installed under Phase II.

Article IX, Inspection and Review of Work, is deleted in its entirety.
The following is substituted in lieu thereof:
Article IX - Inspection, Review, and Acceptance of Work A.
Prior to Delivery The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission reserves the right to make periodic on-site inspections in accordance with the General Provision entitled " Inspection." _It shall be expressly understood that such inspections shall not constitute acceptance by the Government of any part of the work, but shall be for the purpose of providing coordination and technical guidance in interpretation of technical requirements.
B.
Subsequent to Delivery and Installation 1.
All inspections, as well as acceptance or rejection decisions, if any, shall be made at destination by the Project Officer or his authorized representative.
2.
Upon delivery and installation of deliverables specified herein, the contractor shall submit a " readiness certificate" to the Project Officer-certifying that the equipment is installed and ready for examination and testing.
Separate readiness certificates shall be submitted for the completion of work under Phase I and Phase II when each is separately completed.
3.
Upon receipt of the readiness certificates for phase I and, later, for Phase II, the Project Officer or his authorized representative will visually inspect each item and the nature of its installation for compliance with the specifications contained herein.
4.
Upon completion of this visual inspection for each of Phase I and Phase II, the Project Officer will notify the contractor to commence acceptance testing in accordance with the approved plans (see Article VI).
After each Phase, the appropriate acceptance test shall conrnence within seven (7) days of Project Officer notification.
The acceptance tests shall be concluded and written results and l
conclusions submitted to the Project Officer for review within ten (10) days of completion of each test.
The project officer will then review the test results and either provide written notice of final acceptance of the phase for which the test was administered within ten (10) days of receipt of test result or will return the test results for modification in the installation to meet contract specifications.
Completion of corrections / modifications, l
I if necessary, shall be accomplished within ten (10) days.
Readministrat of the applicable acceptance test and submission of results therefrom

shall take place withid seven (7) days following completion of corrections.

Article IV, Period of Performance / Delivery, Paragraph No.1 is deleted in its entirety.
The following is substituted in lieu thereof:
The period of performance of this contract shall be for 396 days from its effective date.
Delivery and Installation within this period of performance shall conform to the schedule set forth in Article III, Installation Requirements.

The above changes are accomplished without change to the total amount of this contract.
