i2. OtSC8irlsON OF AMENDMINT/MODalCAisON This Modification No.1 is issued to exercise the Government's option to extend the period of performance for one year, and to add current funds to cover said performance.
The contract is hereby amended, as follows:
Change ARTICLE IV - PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE to read:

"The period of performance with respect to this contract shall commence on May 11, 1981, and all work shall be completed on May 10, 1983."
s Change ARTICLE X - OBLIGATIONS to read:
"The amount presently obligated by the NRC with respect to this contract is $5,900.36."
As a result of this modification, the monetary value of this contract is hereby increased by $3,100.00, from $2,800.36 to a new total amount of $5,900.36.
