SU'ItARY OF fiEETING CONCERtlING PSI /ISI PROGRA'1 A meeting was held January 5,1982 in Bethesda, fiaryland with representatives from Cormonwealth Edison Comoany and their contractors Sarqent & Lundy, EBASCO, and Atomics International. The neeting was held to discuss the applicant's preservice and inservice insnection (PSI /ISI) program at the Byron Station.
A list of attendees is included as Enclosrue 1.
The following topics were discussed:
1.
Schedule for preservice inspection.
2.
Use of separate calibration blocks for Unit 2.
3.
Class 1 and 2 pipinq sample selection.
4.
Relief requests comparison with results of La Salle PSI.
5.
Overview of Atomics International examination of Byron Unit i reactor vessel and degree of compliar.ce with Reg.
Guide 1.150.
6.
Studs and bolting exaqination procedures.
7.
Procedure qualification and full scale mockuos for the examination of cast stainless steel primary Dioing elbow.
The applicant intends to docket a revised PSI prograq with improved examination procedures for bolting. They will also identify impractical examination requirements with a technical justification after conpletion of the preservice inspections.
