SU41ARY OF MEETING HELD ON MARCH 19, 1982, WITH WOLF CREEK APPLICANT A meeting was held on March 19, 1982, at the Air Rights Building in Bethesda, Maryland, with representatives of the Kansas Gas and Electric Comoany. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss matters related to the Seismic Site-Specific Structural Analysis applicable to Wolf Creek. The list of attendees is attached as Enclosure 1.

The significant points discussed are summarized as follows:

1.

Bechtel gave a presentation of the approach that is being taken for analyzing the site-specific structures as a result of the site-specific spectra approved by the NRC staff.

2.

The applicant is using a Regulatory Guide 1.60 spectra based on 0.159 for this analysis and this is acceptable to the NRC staff pending one internal question on the staff's approved site-specific spectra con-cerning what spectra data, if any, is above 25 hz.

3.

The applicant will perform a comparison for conservatism between the FLUSH program and the fixed-base model.

4.

Sargent & Lundy has analyzed the UHS dam without riprap to 0.159 (RG1.60).

5.

The applicant will show that this analysis is conservative by performing l
