JOINT NOTICE OF DEPOSITION . f d ;;x 4v, Please take notice that, pursuant to 10 CFR S 3(740a,-r(N MLt.V Suffolk County ("SC") and Long Island Lighting Company ("LILCO")

will each take the deposition upon oral examination, of the person (s), designated by each, who are competent to testify concerning the subject matters described below relating to SC Contentions 16 and 20. Such depositions will be held before a notary public or other officer duly authorized to administer oaths, commencing on the 22nd day of April, 1982, at the Dennison Building, Ninth Floor, Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge, New York 11788, and continuing day to day thereafter until completed. The depositions concerning SC 16 will commence at 9:00 a.m.; those concerning SC 20 will commence at 1:30 p.m.

With respect to each of the contentions, SC's deposition of LILCO witness (es) will take place first, to be followed by LILCO's deposition of SC witness (es).

The depositions will be taken for the purposes of discovery or evidence,or for other lawful purposes. SC intends to cover the following subjects: ()3e3 5
