Dear Mr. Bachmann:
As indicated in our response to NRC Staff Interroga-tory Number 1, I am enclosing a copy of a seismic analysis of the 75-ton crane located inside containment of the Big Rock Point plant.
This crane is the one referred to by the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board in their Order dated February 19, 1982.
The report has been prepared by EQE Incorporated on behalf of Consumers Power Company.
The principal author of the report is Peter I.
Yanev, and an appropriate affidavit will be filed by Mr. Yanev as soon as it can be obtained.
The information is being submitted pursuant to the Company's continuing obligation to provide new information with respect to interrogatories filed by you on March 30, 1982.
