DeBoer, Program Director, West Valley, of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority dated February 17, 1982 This responds to the subject letter which described the actions taken, with respect to contamination surveys and decontamination of the seven containers, located at the fomer Plutonium Storage Facility in West Valley, New York, and which were identified in our letter to you dated December 17, 1981.
On the basis of the contamination survey information enclosed with the February 17, 1982 letter, we have concluded that these containers and the transfer hood may be released for unrestricted use or disposal.
