In our letters dated August 27, 1981 and December 23, 1981, we submitted our response to your letter of July 15, L981 cc;cerning more frequent testing of our Butterfly Isolation Valves.
Enclosed is the current "as found" test data which indicates total penetration leakage at these valves has changed very little since the previous tests.
Type C Irak Test Data (SCF/ DAY)
Butterfly August 27, 1981 Current Valve Submittal Data Purge Supply 1.118 0.836 l
Purge Exhaust 1.65
-0.65 l
Air Ejector Isolation 35.784 25.53 1
We of fer this data to reinforce our position as stated in the above referenced letters that the service conditions to which these valves are l
exposed do not warrant more stringent testing requirements than those already in ef fect, and that we will continue our present test schedule in compliance with Appendix J. 10CFR 50.
Very tru y yours,
