[External_Sender] Decommissioning of Indian Point Date:

Saturday, February 15, 2020 9:05:54 PM To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing to request that a public meeting be held regarding the license transfer and decommissioning of Indian Point.

Holtec has a record of unreliability and criminal actions. They should not beallowed to do business in New York, and we certainly cannot rely on them to safely carry out the decommissioning of Indian Point. Experience has shown that they are only interested in making money, not safety, and they want to do things in the quickest and cheapest way possible, even if that endangers the entire region. They actually manufacturethe casks they are proposing to use for high level radioactivewaste storage, and these casks are very inferior to the thicker walled casks used in other countries and other areas.

The decommissioning process will affect the long term health and safety of the20 millionpeople who live and work in the area surroundingthe reactors. We cannot afford to let a slipshod company carry out this operation and expose us all to radioactive contamination.

We must be given the opportunity to demonstrate, at a public hearing, how wrong Holtec is for this job.

Thank you.
