Monday, February 17, 2020 1:03:48 PM We join our neighbors whose homes are located close to Indian Point to request that the Commission take further time and apply more deliberative thought to the decommissioning of that plant.
Specifically, we have valid doubts about Holtec's capacity to safelyand properly accomplish the plant shutdown and disposition of fuel rods.
We who live less than 10 miles away from Indian Point need the assurance that whoever is approved to carry out those tasks will do them at a high professional level, with minimal risk to the surrounding area.
We endorse the requests you have already received for a hearing on this matter to air community questions and concerns.
