Rye, NY, 10580 Email: svandolsen@gmail.com General Comment I am a lifelong resident of Westchester County and my familyand I oppose the license transfer to Holtec because the company will not fulfill its basic responsibilities to safely decommission Indian Point. We urge you to reject the application.

First, the PSDAR filed by Holtec does not even mention the three natural gas pipelines that traverse Entergy's property. No other nuclear plant in the country has gas pipelines running under the property. A fire in the spent fuel pools that would cause catastrophic radioactive releases if here be a rupture in one of the pipelines (von Hippel, Princeton, NJ: https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2016/05/spent-fuel-fire-us-soil-could-dwarf-impact-fukushima.

The fact that Holtec doesn't even mention that there are gas pipelinesat the site means either they are not aware of the presence of the pipelines or they are choosing to ignore a risk that is beyond their ability to deal with.

Further, Holtec has a criminal record and should not be allowed to do business in New York. They manufacture the casks they want to use for high level radioactivewaste storage. They have thin walls and are https://www.fdms.gov/fdms/getcontent?objectId=09000064843757bf&format=xml&showorig=false 02/20/2020

There is no reasonto think it will be any different at Indian Point.

Decommissioning Indian Point is not business as usual. It is the long term health and safety of the Hudson River Valley and the lives of 20 million people who live and work in the area surrounding the reactors.

Thank you, Susan Van Dolsen 29 Highland Rd.Rye, NY 10580 https://www.fdms.gov/fdms/getcontent?objectId=09000064843757bf&format=xml&showorig=false 02/20/2020
