'/s 50-424, 50-425 Leaks in Containment Cooling Coil Units Attention: Mr. James P. O'Reilly Gentlemen:
On March 4,1982 Georgia Power Company reported a potential deficiency to the Commission concerning some defective cooling coils in the containment coolers. Georgia Power Company is conducting an engineering evaluation to determine if the leaks could have prevented these coolers from performing their functional requirements. The engineering evaluation is scheduled for completion in mid-May.
Georgia Power Company expects to submit a final report to the NRC on this matter by June 4, 1982.
