GENERAL ELECTRIC - NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION SECURITY INSPECTION REPORT NO. 05000073/2020201
Dear Mr. Feyrer:
From January 27-29, 2020, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a security inspection at the General Electric Vallecitos Nuclear Center. The inspection results were discussed on January 29, 2020. The enclosed report documents the inspection results.
The inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to security and compliance with the Commissions rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license.
The inspector reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel. Based on the results of this inspection, the NRC has determined that one Severity Level IV Non-Cited Violation of NRC requirements occurred. No response to this letter is required.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Section 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRCs document system (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)).
ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room). However, because of the security-related items contained in the enclosure, and in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(d), a copy of this letters enclosure will not be available for public inspection.
