Dear Mr. Collins:
In reference 1, LP&L indicated that corrective action necessary to close Significant Construction Deficiency No. 17 would be complete and a Final Report submitted to the USNRC by June 1, 1982. Ilowever, the completion date is being restrained due to secondary flush and chemical cleaning.
Following this, construction will require approximately six to eight weeks to remove the temporary piping and complete the permanent piping instal-lati..a associated with the main steam and feed water systems.
Based on the above information, a final report will be submitted on or before August 31, 1982.
