Dear Mr. Collins:
In order to determine the extent of corrective action which may be required, Ebasco is proceeding to conduct in-situ design basis accident testing on the RCB liner plate coating.
Based on the extensive testing and evaluation planned, Potential Reportable Deficiency No. 79 is reclassified as Significant Construction Deficiency No. 56.
It is anticipated that the results of the tests will be available by June 30, 1982. An interim report will be submitted on or before that date.
