construction, and operation.
Our nuclear ~ operations have been restructured and completely separated from other company operations.
The present nuclear organization is comprised of a Quality Assurance Depart-ment, a Nuclear Production Department, a Nuclear Ingineering Department, and a Nuclear Services Department, all under the direction of a Vice President of Nuclear Operations with.18 years.
of previous nuclear experience.
The Quality Assurance Department has a new manager who has brought to the Company extensive experience in that area.
Under his direction, the size and experience of the QA/QC work forces has been greatly expanded to meet the increased construction responsibilities cf that depart-ment.
Shareholders of the Company, at their April 28 an,nual meeting, elected to the Board of Directors the. Senior Vice Presi-dent who has the overall responsibility of our nuclear operations, thus enhancing the Board 's interface with the Company's nuclear activities.
The comprehensive Quality Confirmatiod Program, agreed to by Region III, to assess the safety of the construction of Zimmer as well as provide assurance of proper documentation of the work performed, is moving forward in all categories and on a total basis is approximately 55% completed.
