Develop a containment acceptance criteria for normal conditions of transport and accident damage conditions. Regulatory Guide 7.4 may be used to establish this criteria.
3.
Show that the package design satisfies the containment criteria established for normal conditions of transport and accident damage conditions.
4.
Show that the requirements of 10 CFR 571.42 are satisfied for l

The leak testing schedule for the containment system in Section 9.0 of Report No. ORNL-TM-4905 should be clarified. Also show that the sensitivities and testing schedules are adequate for safe use of the packages. Regulatory Guide 7.4 may be used for periodic testing.
For assembly verification it is recomumended that a test of sufficient sensitivity to limit the maximum release to a Type A quantity in }0 days ig/sec, p id not be required.
used, however, a leak test sensitivity greater than 1x10-atac9 ata-cm /sec (air at 1 atm and 25'c leaking to a 10 p of The minimum sensitiv1 1x10-atm ambient) as specified in ANSI N14.5 should be met.
6.
It appears that the metallic Pu-239 k='s presented in Table II i
