The May House located on the Comanche Peak Station Property Your letter to ne dated May 5,1982, identified the May House as "a property acquired by the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and located near the Conunche Peak Project." For the record, the May House was acquired by the Texas Utilities Generating Company in its acquisiiion of a site for the Corenche Peak Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2.
The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission does not own any share of the May House property.
Pursuant to our responsibility under 36 CFR 63 as licensing agency for the operation of the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station Units 1 and 2, we are currently working on your request for documentation for a determination of the eligibility of the May House for the National Register of Historic Places, aidyill keep you advised as this effort progresses.
