YES DESCRtPTION OF EVENT Discharge of tank to the lake of 37915 gallons.
Composite sample of discharge was later analyzed to be of 19 mg/l Total Suspended Solids.
This exceeded N.P.D.E.S.
Permit limit for Total Suspended Solids of 15 mg/1.
This is an N.P.D.E.S. Violation and reporta61e under section 3 2 of Appendix B of the Tech Specs.
Regen. Waste Solution Discharge Tank - OWM03T, Iron Concentration was de,termined to be 1.8 mg/l Total Iron.

LaSalle County Station:
Unit 1 111. Event Description The Station discharged 37915 gallons from the Regenerative Wastes Solution Discharge Tank, OWM03T, on 10MAY82.
A composite sample of the discharge was analyzed and determined to contain 19 mg/l Total Suspended Solids and 1.8 mg/l Total tron. This discharge exceeded the N.P.D.E.S. Permit limits of 15 mg/l Total Suspended Solids and 1.0 mg/l Total Iron.
IV.
Probable Consequences of the Occurrence This occurrence has no effect on the safe operation of the unit, nor on the Sealth and safety of the general public.
This is not a frequent occurrence.
V.
Cause Large amounts of paint chippings, rust, and resin beads were in the clean areas around the floor drains leading to the M.U.D. acid sump, OWM06T.
These solids were probably flushed into the floor drains then carried into the Regenerative Wastes Solution Discharge Tank, OWM03T, via.the M.U.D. acid sump, 0WM06T.
VI.
Corrective Action i.,
These areas are to be kept clean through good ' housekeeping practices.

entering the floor drains.
