t Pursuant to the Board's request, I spoke to Ralph Shapiro, Esq. on May 27, 1982 regarding his letter to the Board dated May 25, 1982. Specifically, I advised Mr. Shapiro that the requirements of paragraph 2(b) of the Stipulation dated September 18, 1979, between LILCO, North Shore and the Staff have been fulfilled with completion of the Staff's review and approval of the training of LILC0 personnel involved in the procedures and activities described in paragraph 1 of the Stipulation.
Further, at Mr. Shapiro's request, the Staff Resident Inspector (J.C. Higgins) has forwarded copies of certain correspondence to Mr. Shapiro. A copy of Mr. Higgins' letter to Mr. Shapiro of May 28, 1982, is attached.
