This letter is in regards to 10 CFR 73.21 " Requirements for the Protection of Safeguards Information" as it relates to Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
The requirements of this sec, tion were added on October 22, 1981, effective January 20, 1982.
Toledo Edison requests specific exemption from an implementation schedule of 10 CFR 73 as detailed in the attachment (Safeguards Information).
We believe that the measure in effect will provide adequate assurance for protection of Safeguards Information until full implementation is achieved.
