On April 29, 1982 opplicant representatives met with the NRC staff in Bethesda, Maryland to develop a schedule for the emergency ' preparedness review to be performed as part of the OL safety review. is a ' copy of the meeting notice. is a list of participants.
The meeting lasted approximately two hours. Meeting results are as follows:
1.
A proposed schedule for the review was developed (Enclosure 3).
It.
was noted that this schedule was prepared without benefit of input from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), who would have been able to comment on FEMA and state and local planning efforts.
The schedule is, therefore, only a proposal, and. is subject to adjustments based on FEMA, state and local input.
2.
Several items were identified for inclusion'into an agenda for a future emergency preparedness meeting to be held at or near the site.
These items are:

NRC indepenaent evacuation analysis b.
On-site appraisal plans and requirements c.
Exercise dates 1

d.
Scheduling of state and local planning actions e.
FEMA intentions on warning systems tests f.
Response center review program 3.
Clarification was obtained on several NRC requests for addi:;ional information which had been previously forwarded to the applicant.
