\\ c3 The revised ins'; ructions for completion of Nuclear Material Transa Reports, DOE /tiRC Fom-741, which were effective April 1,1981, require measured discards and inventory difference data to be inputted directly to P.Utf tSS using the Fom-741. Consequently, the need for this particular ronthly report to the NRC Region I Office has been superseded. Accordingly, we are deleting License Condition 6.2 of Amendment MPP-3 to your License flo. SflM-639, effective imediately.
Be advised that an addendum to the revised instructions which specify time intervals for the discard and inventory difference report will be issued at a later date. Until that time, you should submit the respective report on a monthly basis to lifCISS via DOE /NRC Fom-741.
In addition to deleting License Condition 6.2, we are also deleting License Condition 6.4 of Anendment MPP-3 to your License flo. SNM-639, effective imediately, which allowed the use of flRC Fom-284. The Government Accounting Office has infomed the NRC that the use of this document constitutes duplicate reporting and that such a practice should be eliminated. Therefore, you should follow the instructions contained in NUREG/BR-0006, " Instructions for Conpleting Nuclear ifaterial Transaction Reports" and use the DOE /NRC Fom-741 as a " Nuclear Material Transfer Receipt" in lieu of the NRC Fom-204 Sincerely, L.
