May 25,1982 MEMORANDUM On May 24, 1982 Ms. Louise Bradford, representing Three Mile Island Alert, Inc., telephoned to request a one week extension to file replies to the comments on the Special Master's Report on the grounds that she had been informed that the Licensee's comments totalled 96 pages and that she would need extra time because of the unexpected length of the com-ments. However, she had not then examined Licensee's comments.
I ex-plained that the parties had been advised to base their consnents where possible on their proposed findings filed with the Special Master; that Licensee appears to have done this, and that reply comments must be limited to initial comments. The request was denied but TMIA was invited to renew the request if a particular need can be demonstrated.
I clari-fied that reply findings are to be delivered to the chairman on June 1, 1982. They should be mailed to the parties on that date.
