regard to TRU waste.

4 The data given below relates to our current decommissioninng work on the Cimarron Plutonium plant.
- 1) We currently have 1500 cubic feet of TRU on hand and expect to accumulate approximately 11,000 cubic feet in the next several years.
- 2) At the present 10 nCi/g limit, we expect to ship approximately 8500 cubic feet for surface disposal.
If the limit were increased to 100 nCi/g, we estimate that we would ship an additional 3500 cubic feet.
- 3) Assuming a 100 nC1/g limit for TRU waste, we estimate that the average concentration of alpha emitting radionuclides in the waste would be approximately 50 nCi/g.
