South Texas Project Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. STN 50-498, STN 50-499 Schedule for Submittal of Response to NRC Review Ouestion 620.1 By letter dated March 26, 1982, your office submitted to Houston Lighting

& Power Company (HL&P) guidance regardina the Control Room Design Review re-quired by NUREG 0737.

HL&P intends to perfonn a Detailed Control Room Design Review (DCRDR) to be completed on or before September 1,1985 which will provide ample time prior to readiness to load fuel for NRC's review. Accordinaly, a Preliminary Design Assessment will not be needed.
