7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-368 ARKANSAS POWER AND LIGHT COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment No. 31 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-6 issued to Arkansas Power and Light Company (the Licei.see), which changed the list of conditions in the body of the license for operation of Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit No. 2, located in Pope County, Arkansas. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
The amendment modifies the body of the license by deleting conditions which have been satisfied by the completion of verification testing relating to the operation of the reactor protection system's core protection calculator system.
The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment. Prior public notice of the amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration, t
