Dear Mr. Schlesinger:
This is in response to your letter dated May 4,1982 in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), copies of all contracts awarded by NRC and its predecessor, AEC, to E. R. Johnson Associates and its subsidiaries. This confirms the information relayed during the telephone conversation between you and Linda Robinson on May 11, 1982.
Upon search of pertinent NRC files, we were unable to locate any records subject to your request.
When NRC and ERDA were created in 1975, all AEC contracts pertaining to NRC functiens were transferred to NRC.
(All other AEC contracts were transferred to ERDA, which has been succeeded by D0E.) None of the AEC contracts transferred to NRC or subsequent NRC contracts were awarded to the firms listed in your request.
For information on ERDA and other AEC contracts, we suggest you submit an F0IA request to the following person:
